EPN partners with the prestigious AUC School of Business

On December 6th, 2020 EPN signed a Cooperation Protocol with the AUC School of Business, one of the top ranked and leading business schools in the region and holder of the esteemed Triple Crown accreditation. One week later, the AUC School of Business unveiled their new state-of-the-art MBA program live on EPN for the first time. The live conference was attended by Dr. Sherwat Elwan, Director of the MBA and Executive MBA programs at the AUC School of Business; Maha Farouk, Director of Marketing for Graduate Programs at the AUC School of Business; Sherif Hosny, CEO and Co-Founder of Schaduf and AUC School of Business MBA Alumnus; and hosted by Mona El-Kheshen, EPN Founder.

This unique collaboration will provide eligible EPN members with access to partial

scholarships for the AUC MBA and Executive MBA programs. “We are delighted to partner with the leading business school in the region and to bring exclusive scholarship & career advancement opportunities to our uniquely collaborative network of high achieving, success driven, Egyptian business leaders & change agents,” reflected El-Kheshen on the new partnership announcement.

“Both the AUC School of Business and EPN believe in common goals & values such as a collaborative mindset on all levels and enabling success-driven talent within our networks to excel. We both have strong and global networks. We have access to the facilities and knowledge and EPN have access to the people we are really interested to attract to the programs, so we see complete alignment and we believe this partnership has an exciting future,” said Dr. Elwan.

The AUC School of Business is committed to academic excellence and a progressive forward thinking teaching approach, trailblazing traits recognized worldwide when their MBA program joined the exclusive club of just 1% of business schools globally to receive the much-coveted Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS). Recently, the MBA program at AUC School of Business has pioneered an innovative new approach to ensure the program is relevant to the industries it serves and the academic needs of prospective students. The creation of a ground-breaking swift dual-track offering

both eases the load of undertaking the program and gives students dynamic modules of study to meet their future career needs.

“We have studied the content of the program and managed to compress it down from 48 to 36 credit hours. Subsequently, the cost of the program has been reduced by one third,” explained Dr. Elwan. MBA students can now engage in a part-time program up to 2 years and earn their degree faster while keeping up with their busy careers. Building upon business trends in the region and capitalizing on Egypt’s emerging economies and entrepreneurial spirit, the MBA program now offers two distinct tracks students can choose from after completing core modules:

● The Entrepreneurship Track: Ideal for those paving their own path in business as start-up enterprise founders or family business owners.

● The Corporate Advancement Track: Ideal for those wishing to take the next step up the corporate business career ladder.

To strengthen foundational knowledge, core modules for both career tracks include: Data Science in Business, Accounting & Financial Reporting, Managerial Economics, Strategic Marketing, Managing Human Capital, Operations & Supply Chain, Information & Communication Technology.

To remain applicable to real life business interactions, the AUC School of Business ensures the MBA program focuses on experiential learning by including a wide selection of practical learning experiences such as:

● Actual business case studies & case competitions.

● Consulting experience through the MBA Consultancy Project.

● Realistic business simulation challenges for students to practice and fine-tune critical thinking, scenario creation, problem solving, deal making, negotiation &

interpersonal skills.

● “Meet the CEO” networking and discussion events with business leaders and

influential public figures.
